Environmental Policy

Wren & Stone is committed to protecting the environment and minimising the impact of our construction and design & build activities wherever possible. We recognise that our work, from renovations and extensions to new builds, has an effect on the local environment, and we take our responsibility to manage that impact seriously on every project we undertake.

We are committed to continually improving our environmental performance and to preventing pollution, and to complying with all relevant environmental legislation and other requirements to which we subscribe. To achieve this, 2nd Chapter Developments Ltd, trading as Wren & Stone, is committed to:

• Minimising waste on site and maximising the reuse and recycling of construction materials wherever practicable

• Sourcing sustainable and responsibly produced materials from suppliers where possible

• Using energy and water efficiently across our sites and offices

• Reducing emissions associated with our vehicles, plant and equipment

• Protecting local ecology, trees and watercourses during construction works

• Ensuring all employees and subcontractors understand and follow our environmental procedures

• Considering the environmental impact of new projects at the design stage, including energy efficiency and sustainable building methods

• Regularly reviewing this policy and our environmental performance to drive continuous improvement

Every member of our team, and every subcontractor working with us, shares responsibility for putting this policy into practice on site.
